Traditional Wooden Toys Always the Right Choice for Babies

Have you been inside a toy store recently? If you’re like me, you will probably leave with a headache. Everything is moving, clicking, buzzing, chirping, flashing bright lights and the whole store reeks of plastic particulates. Ick!

I admit it, I’m an old fashioned guy and I recommend parents start with traditional wooden toys for their babies and toddlers. Wooden toys are naturally germ-free, and they are never going to be recalled for sudden findings of poisonous materials like cadium or lead. Wooden toys don’t have tiny moving parts that can easily break off and become choking hazards, either.

The modern world seems hell-bent on bringing the din of the city’s cacophany into our homes the minute our babies are born. I recommend creating playrooms as havens, not circuses. You may make it through parenthood this way!
