Cartoon and Anime Swords are Great Fun

Some of the most collectible types of blades on the market today are replicas of the cartoon and anime sword. Some of the most popular are the replicas from shows like Bleach, Naruto, and Blood The Last Vampire. However, my tastes are a bit more… retro. I think my favorite sword from a cartoon has got to be the Sword of Omens from the old 1980s television show Thundercats. I had quite a few of the action figures when I was a kid, and I watched the show every single day – sometimes twice a day when they would play it on one channel before school and another channel when I came home. My brother and I would even grab plastic baseball bats and sticks and run around in the backyard, pretending we were the fantastic feline heroes. As an adult, I haven’t yet leaped onto a couch and shouted the infamous, “Thundercats, Ho” I am getting closer each day!
